For everyone looking for a good thrill, wide open spaces and stunningly beautiful landscape, the choice is your's.

At Valmeinier you can enjoy a maiden flight on a microlight, ski down safe, well marked slopes or partake of simple pleasures such as an outing on snowshoe. And if you fancy a break you can just stick your skis in the snow, lean back and enjoy the view of the snow-capped peaks.
Discovery of the ski area
  fleche As of this year, thanks to the Tandemski , our ski instructors will be able to introduce non-skiers to the joys of the sport and show them the enormity of the ski area . More information available from the ESF.

two itineraries for novice and experienced skiers and snowboarders, which will allow you to discover the Valmeinier / Valloire ski area:

-For beginners, starting from the main resort, go up the Neuvache run with the Girodière ski lift and then take the green run to the Arméra chairlift, which will carry you to Valmeinier 1500. Take the Roi chairlift and descend to 1800 via the Chardons.

- For experienced skiers, starting from Valmeinier 1800, take the Jeux chair lift and go down the Lacs and then the Bleuets run to the Gros Crey chair lift, before descending via the Génépi and the Eglantiers to Valmeinier 1500. Catch the Arméra chairlift and then the Grandes Drozes 6-seater high-speed chairlift, followed by the Combe ski lift (you are now entering the Valloire sector). Join the Pervenche run to the Château Ripaille ski lift, then go down on either the Blanchon or the Belette run and catch the Grand Plateau ski lift (to return to Valmeinier). Descend via the Combe Orsière, take the Inversins ski lift and return to Valmeinier 1800 on the run of your choice. It all depends on how tired your legs are !
 
 
Freeride

For the free-riding community Valmeinier provides a qualify off-piste sector, on the Gros Crey and Crey du Quart massifs. There is scope for untold fun there. They climb to 2,600 metres, bathed in sun, offering skiers a taste of more southerly climes. With its unsullied environment and friendly, modern villages, you will be nature's guests. And in Valmeinier we're talking about nature on a grand scale.
Snowboard

The snowpark in Valloire, classified as 5th french snowpark and 15th european, is certified by the French Snowboard Association (AFS). It is groomed every day by our professional crew, ready to accommodate all kind of slide and every form of freestyle.

The snowpark is located on the Crey du Quart massif, beside the Château Ripaille draglift. It consists of a preshaped half-pipe and boardercross course. To vary the tricks, the number of big-air, hip and quarter-face features increases during the winter with each new snowfall.

Activities areas
A downhill course , located in the Crey du Quart sector, will also allow you to test your abilities and post your best times.

A permanent transceiver workshop , also in the Crey du Quart sector, will enable you learn the basic skills required when searching for avalanche victims as well as how to use this type of safety instrument.
