Valmeinier is pleased to welcome this summer the great blues group Awek during its opening weekend festival.

AWEK has never stopped evolving while keeping the original soul, out of respect, sincerity and simplicity.

This eloquent record tells us a lot about their tenacity. Their book "20 years of Blues" is a testimony to this beautiful slice of life, but the adventure continues with, among other things, a new album in the works... More present than ever in 2015, our 4 adventurers tirelessly pursue their journey, the one they had chosen by instinct and passion 20 years ago, in 1994...
In January 2019, AWEK played at the Philharmonie de Paris with the Orchester Pasdeloup under the direction of Jean-François Verdier.
In 2021, France Blues inducted AWEK into the French Blues Hall of Fame.
