This is the summer obstacle course not to be missed! For a fourth consecutive year, the Valmeinier Obstacle Race returns to our mountains. We'll see you on Sunday July 21, 2024 to challenge yourself. Opening of registrations on Miles Republic on Monday April 22, 2024.
The Obstacle Race: A life-size challenge at the Valmeinier station
With family, friends or even solo, come to the end of our route strewn with pitfalls in the heart of a green setting at 1 meters above sea level.
Use your agility, stamina, strength and balance to overcome one obstacle after another before proudly crossing the finish line.
Whether you want to go beyond your limits or go at your own pace, the Valmeinier Obstacle Race guarantees you an intense and fun moment in a grandiose landscape.
Enjoy this event and live a unique experience in a friendly atmosphere where sportsmanship goes with mutual aid.
The three race formats
- Le CHALLENGE for CHILDREN, who will show their talents to the spectators in the face of challenges to their size.
Distance: 3,5 km, 250 m of elevation gain, with 15 obstacles to overcome.
Departure at 11:30 a.m. from the snow front.
Withdrawal of bibs from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. in the multipurpose room located on the Islettes esplanade.
16:30 p.m.: podium and prize-giving.
Ctimed bear with ranking, podiums and awards.
Minimum 8 years old up to 15 years old.
- La ADULT RACE to exceed its limits! Spectacular events in the heart of the resort and in the middle of the public. The waves of the 'Elite' category set off first on the course before being followed by those of the 'Leisure' category.
Distance: 7 km, 500 m of elevation gain, with 25 obstacles to overcome.
Departure at 9 a.m. from the snow front.
Collection of bibs from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the multipurpose room located on the Esplanade des Islettes.
Ctimed bear with ranking, podiums and awards.
From 16 years.
- Le FAMILY CHALLENGE : a team of at least 4 participants, regardless of their age, who must cross the finish line together! A great adventure for young and old to weld!
Collection of gift bags from 9 a.m. to 13 p.m. at the Valmeinier multipurpose room, esplanade des Islettes.
Meet at 15:30 a.m. on the snow front.
Distance: 3,5 km with 10 obstacles to overcome.

In total, €3 CASH PRIZE are divided between the first 5 of the Elite categories (Men and Women)!

- 32€ instead of 49€ for Adults with the code EARLYA02 (promotion limited to the first 200 registrations).
- 20€ instead of 25€ for Children with the code EARLYE01 (promotion limited to the first 60 registrations).
- 32€ instead of 40€ for Families with the code EARLY03 (promotion limited to the first 40 registrations) and €8 per additional person.
