Discover Valmeinier's Crossfit (Licensed Event) event! For 4 days, 660 athletes surpass themselves during the biggest Functional Fitness competition in the Alps, and the highest in Europe, at 1800 meters above sea level.
This year, the Valmeinier Throwdown takes place from July 11 to 14, 2024. For this fourth edition, 165 teams of four athletes (2 Women + 2 Men), divided into four difficulty levels (Rx, Master, Inter & Scaled), will compete over 4 days to win the title of the fittest team in the Alps.
Huge surprises await you! Qualify your team and climb the summits to the podium in WODs that are as varied as they are spectacular.
All athletes participate until the end!
The organization of the competition, managed by the station, is done in partnership with the teams of the SCORING platform, the coaches and trainers of the LFT Foundation and the support of the Rookies Contest association, as in the first edition.
Pratical information
Program of the 2024 edition
- Thursday July 11 (from 12 p.m. to 19 p.m.): Briefing and opening ceremony, WOD 1 (Obstacle course)
- Friday, July 12 (9 a.m. to 19 p.m.): WOD 2-3-4
- Saturday July 13 (9 a.m. to 21 p.m.): WOD 5-6 + 7 at sunset + Festive evening / buffet
- Sunday July 14 (9 a.m. to 14 p.m.): Finals and prize giving
