Family walk in the forest in the shade of the trees leading to the old mill decorated with magnificent wood carvings. The path passes through the hamlet of Les MĂ©lĂšzes with its beautiful chapel, then the hamlet of Les Combes and its bread oven. Come and discover the small birds that inhabit this forest thanks to the explanatory panels.

Departure from Valmeinier Villages – Tourist Office. Facing the office, follow the road on the left. At the underground car park, take the road on the left then, 50 m further on, the one on the right towards Les MĂ©lĂšzes. After 150 m, take the path that goes left below the road. Just after the cross, turn left to take the road again until you reach the hamlet of Les MĂ©lĂšzes. Turn left at the chapel then, 100 m further on, before the bend, go down left to take a small road then a path in the undergrowth which descends towards Le Moulin. At the CĂŽtes crossroads, go back and forth to the mill. Leave in the direction of Les Combes via Sous les Combes. Cross the small hamlet and continue on the road towards Valmeinier. Before crossing a bridge (with a penstock) take the path that goes up to the left. Go through Les GuillotiĂšres then go to Gros Mollard. From there, continue on the road to find the hamlet of Les MĂ©lĂšzes. From the hamlet take the same route as on the way out.
