Cyclists will appreciate our proximity to the Col du Télégraphe. Whether you are amateur or seasoned cyclists. Organize your stay with us means easy access to the great passes of the Maurienne by taking advantage of an exceptional playground: Col du Télégraphe, Valloire, Col du Galibier, Col de la Madeleine, Lacets de Montvernier, Col de la Chaussy, Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Glandon, Col de l'Iseran, Col du Montcenis but also do the Marmotte loop from the chalet, as do some particularly sharp groups that we welcome (200KM, 5000D+ via Alpe d'Huez).
Our secure garage allows you to store your bike. We also provide you with maintenance equipment and a cleaning station.
We are ideally located at the end of the Hameau des Mélèzes a few kilometers from the Col du Télégraphe but also 1 kilometer from the slopes of the Galibier-Thabor ski area from Valmeinier Village, well served by a free shuttle.
Located in a sunny location, it offers a breathtaking 180-degree view of the Valmeinier massifs, the Telegraph pass and the Vanoise.
Your 220 m2 chalet can accommodate 15 people. It is composed of :
– 5 bedrooms with bathroom (possibility of 6 on request) including a dormitory that can accommodate up to 6 people, 4* hotel bedding, all our double beds can be converted into single beds
– a large living room of approximately 70 m2 with its kitchen area, dining room and lounge separated by a double-sided fireplace area
– a large sauna room with its cabin that can accommodate 6 people.
A contemporary and neat decoration, a complete kitchen equipment, games, television, stereo, WIFI will allow you to spend a pleasant stay in complete autonomy. We can help you book road bikes, electric bikes or mountain bikes with home delivery.
Specialized in welcoming cyclists from the beginning of June to the end of September, we welcome groups of 3 to 15 cyclists who are looking for comfort and conviviality while being close to the best “spots” in the Alps. Our rooms are flexible according to your group (couple or individual). Your bikes are safe in your secure garage and we will take advantage of a repair stand and our garden hose for cleaning. After the effort, there's nothing like a good beer on a deckchair enjoying the last rays of sunshine of the day. Our chalet is also an ideal place for non-cyclists who will enjoy a very pleasant place with a magnificent view. You want advice on the surrounding passes, but also the circuits from us, we are here to inform you. Even Alpe d'Huez is not that far from us! 3 groups of cyclists in 2018 included the Alpes d'Huez in their program from our chalet…. You want to rent road bikes, VAE or mountain bikes, we can help you with the support of the best professionals in the region. Delivery is made to our chalet.
