Le pré abandonné
This medium difficulty hike can be started from Valmeinier Center Station or from Valmeinier Villages.
Departure from the resort: From the snow front, take the footbridge which crosses the road then follow the “Chenalette” via the “Déserts d'en haut”.
From the "Chenalette" join "Mathoset" then follow "Cotérieux" after crossing the bridge.
At "Coterieux", take the path on the right and join "Valmeinier Villages" via "Pré abandon" and "Cerbeton".
Departure from Village: From the village, follow “Lières” via “Combaz” and “Grange Bernard”.
At "Désert-la Croix" follow "Valmeinier 1800" to finish the route or go to "Lières" (15-minute detour) to enjoy the leisure center and the banks of the Neuvache.
To discover: the view of the hamlets and the valley from the balcony path, the leisure center of Lières, the hoppy break at the artisanal brewery of Gwape (visit possible).
