Already renowned in the Maurienne valley for its size, its exceptional location in the extreme south of Savoie and not far from the famous Col du Galibier, the GALIBIER-THABOR ski area links the resorts of Valmeinier and Valloire. It refers to two emblematic summits of the region which culminate at more than 3 m in altitude: Le Galibier and Le Thabor. The ski area benefits from plenty of sunshine and optimal snow conditions from December to April.
