La piste des trois croix
This is a very beautiful, fairly easy walk which, from the 3 Crosses, offers a remarkable panorama of Valmeinier, the surrounding villages and sites, but also of more distant peaks such as the Ecrins.
Follow the road for about 200m then continue straight on a wide track which descends in thinning areas then rises in a denser forest to reach Pierre Brune (bench for a break).
After crossing the Fontaine Froide stream, the path climbs more steeply before arriving at the Three Crosses and the Chapel of Notre Dame de la Vie (orientation table).
For the return, follow the postman's track which goes up again in the forest (20 min) before descending to Les Frasses, Le Tour and finally the "Centre Montagne l'Arméra" building.
