Gwape (a): n. Said in Savoyard patois of the one who drinks. A lot. From someone who is very thirsty!
A beer “made in Valmeinier”
Launched in December 2018, chis artisanal production was born thanks to the initiative of a couple of young brewers, Chloé and Adrien. They offer you 100% local beer.
Initially installed in Valmeinier Villages, the La Gwape micro-brewery has now taken its place in the heart of the Grand Panorama 2 residence. Access to the bar obviously remains open to the public.
Based on Valmeinier spring water, the "Gwape" are available in 4 recipes: blond (Mountain Pale-Ale), white (American wheat beer), amber (Amber Atale) and India Pale-ale (bitter beer) and a beer of the moment inspired by Chloé, the brewer!

Vacationers talk about it best
A great time spent at La Gwape! A very pleasant welcome, clear explanations, tastings in a good mood. The beers are excellent. A visit to absolutely recommend!
Nice visit on Tuesday afternoon, remember to book early. Tasting of 5 draft beers, brewed by a woman who masters her subject! IPA is the best seller. Great time. To do.
The bar
